No. 10 · The chart

Amelia Island is home. Florida is in range.

Most of the work is here, and being here is the point: an island client gets somebody who turns up. But a website gets built and handed over, and an assistant learns a business from what its owner tells it. Neither needs anyone in the room, which is why a shop in Ocala can have the same thing as a shop on Centre Street.

Nassau County, in person

  • Amelia Island. Charters, rentals, tours, inns. The customer is planning a vacation from another state and asking at ten at night their time.
  • Fernandina Beach. Where most of the work is. Usually a site built years ago, on a platform nobody has the login for any more.
  • Yulee. Vets, towing, car washes, trades. Nobody picks up at seven in the morning and the caller just tries the next name. A few of those caught back pays for the year.
  • Callahan and Hilliard. Rural trades, found by one urgent search. Often the honest build is a small one.
  • Jacksonville and north Florida. Close enough to sit down with.

Anywhere else in Florida, worked remotely.

Already doing it, on both coasts and in the middle of the state. Email, a call, a screen share. The rates are the same in either direction: no travel charge here, no remote surcharge there.

What you give up at a distance is me walking in the door. Usually that costs a business nothing. When it does matter, you will hear it on the first call rather than after the deposit.

Not sure whether you are near enough?

You almost certainly are. Ask the assistant on this page, or tell me where you are and what your business does and I will give you a straight answer.
