What we collect
- What you type to an assistant. When you chat with an assistant on this
site or on a business's site we run, the conversation is recorded so it can be answered and,
where you asked for follow-up, passed along.
- Contact details you choose to share. A name, phone number, or email you
give an assistant so a business can get back to you.
- Ordinary technical records. The basic server logs any website keeps, and
simple page-view counts. We do not run advertising trackers and we do not build profiles of
visitors across the web.

What it is used for
One purpose: running the service. Your message is used to generate the answer you asked for.
Contact details you share go to the business you were trying to reach, or to us if you asked us
to follow up. Counts and logs keep the service working and tell us which pages are useful.

How the AI part works
Messages to an assistant are processed by established AI model providers under their business
terms in order to generate the reply. Under those terms, your conversations are not used
to train their public models. We share only what is needed to answer the message.

When you talk to a business's assistant
An assistant we run on a local business's website works for that business. The conversation
and any contact details you share with it belong to that business — that is who you were talking
to — and their own policies apply alongside this one. We process it on their behalf and do not
use it for anything else.
Entry 05 · The promise
What we never do
- We never sell or rent personal information. Not yours, not a business's customer list.
- We never use one business's data to serve another business.
- We never send you marketing you didn't ask for. The only emails we send are the ones a
signup or a conversation asked for.
What we do keep: anonymized, aggregated patterns — what kinds of questions people ask, which
answers help — that make the service better and identify no one.
Entry 06
How long, and your choices
We keep records only as long as running the service needs them, and working copies are
deleted when a business leaves us. Want to see what we hold about you, or want it deleted?
Email hello@AmeliaIslandAI.com and a person — not
a form — will handle it.

The small print that still matters
- Our services are for businesses and general audiences; they are not directed at children
under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
- Data is stored with established cloud providers in the United States.
- If this policy changes in a way that matters, the businesses we serve get an email before
it takes effect, and the date above always tells you which version you are reading.
