It says what the deposit does, what "done" means, and what happens if life gets in the way — so neither of us is ever guessing. The quote lists the scope; this sheet is the rules the scope runs under. Our full terms apply alongside it.

1 · The moneyHalf to begin, half at launch
The deposit is half the quoted price, and work starts when it lands. The balance is due when the site goes live at your domain. The deposit pays for work actually done: if a project ends early, work completed to that point is what it covered, and anything beyond it is returned.
2 · Done, definedWhat "done" means
The quote lists the pages and features in scope. Done means that list, live at your domain, working on phones and desktops. When it is live and you have signed off, the build is complete and the balance is due. Sign-off by email is fine.
3 · RevisionsTwo rounds, gathered up
The price includes two rounds of revisions. A round is one gathered-up list of changes — not one change at a time — which is why we will ask you to collect your notes before we start cutting. Changes beyond the two rounds, or outside the quoted scope, are quoted before any work is done on them. No surprise invoices, ever.
4 · Your partContent and access
You supply the words, photos, and logins the quote says you will (or approve the drafts we write). The clock on the timeline starts when the deposit and the content are in hand — a build cannot outrun its ingredients. Only give us material you have the rights to use.
5 · Going quietIf life gets in the way
Businesses get busy — no judgment. If we are waiting on you for 30 days, the project pauses and comes off the schedule; it restarts when you are ready, in the next available slot. The deposit keeps covering the work already done, and nothing expires.
6 · Whose it isOwnership
On final payment, the site is yours — files, content, and the domain that was always yours to begin with. If you ever leave, it goes with you. Ongoing care and hosting help are separate month-to-month services, never a condition of the build. If you add a monthly plan, it starts when the site goes live and runs month to month like everything else — end it whenever you like, with no fee.
